Inspired by a trip to Vleesbaai on the Garden Route, OKAY! finds Mother City indie-electro raconteurs Die Heuwels Fantasties exploring life and love in a digital age. Thanks to its soaring vocals, pulsing synth landscapes and uplifting beat, lead single “LED Liefde” makes for a great introduction to the album, which also features collaborations with Valiant Swart and JR. Recording at Jürgen von Wechmar’s legendary Sunset Studios, the fivepiece have invited jazz-pop saxophonist Hiram Koopman, pianist Janine Neethling and the Gereformeerde Blues Band along for the ride.
