Based out of Melbourne, Australia, the aptly named electro dream-pop duo Two People is the creation of Phoebe Lou and Joey Clough. Formed in 2014 after the dissolution of their prior project, the popular indie pop quintet Snakadaktal, Two People wasted little time in making a name for themselves, releasing their debut single, "Fading," near the end of 2015. Atmospheric, melancholic, and melodically and lyrically compelling, it garnered accolades both at home and abroad, with critics comparing the duo's beguiling sound to artists like the xx, Daughter, and Beach House.
