About Mike Ryan

Mike Ryan is an American country singer-songwriter with a large following in his native Texas. ∙ Growing up in a musical family, he sang in his local church choir and learned to play piano, clarinet, and saxophone before switching to guitar in high school. ∙ Ryan’s self-released debut LP, 2012’s Night Comes Falling, caught the attention of the prominent Nashville publishing company Sea Gayle Music, which signed him to a songwriting deal. ∙ Beginning with 2014’s “Dancing All Around It,” six of his songs have hit No. 1 on the Texas Regional Radio Report Top 100 chart. ∙ At the 2015 Texas Regional Radio Music Awards, he was named New Male Vocalist of the Year. ∙ He cowrote the 2017 country hit “Last Time for Everything” with Brad Paisley, who returned the favor by playing guitar on “The Rewrite” from Ryan’s album Blink and You’ll Miss It.
