In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory is listening to the Breakfast with the Beatles radio show every Sunday with my family. I knew every word to every one of their songs by the time I was 7 years old. The Beatles were the soundtrack of my childhood. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alanis Morissette, Jagged Little Pill Brandi Carlile, Brandi Carlile Carole King, Tapestry Jagged Little Pill because it was the first album I got as a pre-teen. It felt rebellious and empowering. Brandi Carlile made me feel seen. She truly changed my life. And Tapestry is a classic...warm, inviting and feels like coming home. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Chicago Summer Nights” I wrote this song after my first summer away from home. I was missing everything about Chicago. My early 20's in the city was truly a coming of age time for me and this song is a love letter to the people and places that I missed the most. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My favorite moment so far was being on the Katie Couric Show and getting to perform for the legendary Clive Davis. This was my one degree connection to the Whitney Houston, whom I've adored since I was a child. I even named my rescue dog after her. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My dream is to sing with Brandi Carlile at Red Rocks, record music at Abbey Road, and to hear one of my songs playing on the radio. I always imagine that scene from That Thing You Do when the Wonders finally hear themselves on the radio. Pure joy.
