A train and auto mechanic, he was usually in the garage, covered in grease and cursing. This image has stuck with me, but I never had the chance to talk with him about music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Die 12 Cellisten der Berliner Philharmoniker, Gidon Kremer, Keith Jarrett, Arvo Pärt: Tabula Rasa Kronos Quartet, Kronos Quartet Performs Philip Glass Radiohead, OK Computer Each of these albums has been important to me during the most difficult times in my life — they have served as soundtracks to immense personal growth. This was my first time really experimenting with felted piano keys, and producing deep, lush sounds. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Having people reach out to me to provide music for their media projects — whether that’s online books, videos, or films. It’s the most rewarding and memorable thing for me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Scoring a feature film with a full orchestra performing my music.
