About Cort Carpenter

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I first started singing live, I competed in the "Colgate Country Showdown" in several cities across the country. Before ever getting into singing, I played Bass in the orchestra for 8 years. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Imagine Dragons, Evolve Joe Nichols, Never Gets Old Tim McGraw, Tim McGraw: Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 - Single These albums are three of my all-time favorites. The emotions that each evoke are incredible. All three of these albums have got me through tough times which makes them the top of my list and albums I frequently re-visit. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Somebody Tonight” Somebody Tonight is one of my newer releases and one of the lead singles from my new album. This song, written by Ryan Hurd and Jimmy Robbins, never gets old because of the catchy lyrics and instrumentation. Not only a fan favorite, but one I love. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Having played over 1000+ shows over the past decade, I have had many memorable moments. But playing the main stage at Rock The South, Country Thunder, Oregon Jamboree were surreal. Not to forget, playing on the Next From Nashville stage at Watershed. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? One thing still on my bucket list includes blowing up on Apple Music. Apple Music/iTunes has been my go-to source for music since the beginning of Apple. It's been a dream to blow up on the platform I've used since it first started.
