Vocalist Cisilia was born and raised on the Danish island of Amager. She started performing in public at the age of eight. While still in her mid-teens, she signed a recording contract with Universal Denmark and debuted in 2014 with "Ring Den Alarm," a reggae-flavored pop single that reached number 25 on Denmark's Track Top 40 chart. A buoyant follow-up single, "Vi-To Datid Nu," for which she collaborated with Thomas Stengaard, Engelina Larsen, and Jules Wolfson, was her true breakthrough, a Top Five hit certified platinum in the singer's native country.
