A funk-driven octet hailing from Montréal, Busty and the Bass combined a diverse set of genres with their multi-instrumental line-up. The group's founding members met while studying at the institution’s renowned Schulich School of Music and promptly won Canada's Top University Band in 2014. A series of EPs in the mid-2010s set the scene for their studio albums with their fusion of styles from hip-hop to electro-soul manifested on 2017's Uncommon Good and 2020's Eddie.
