Ilan Bluestone

About Ilan Bluestone

Delivering atmospheric electronics with wobbly, dub-infused synths, pulsating beats, and hooky pop vocals, Ilan Bluestone is a London-based dance producer and EDM DJ. He made his appearance on the scene in 2012 with the track "Runway" on American trance label Air Up There. He then went on to sign with the U.K.-based Anjunabeats, and made his label debut with the single "Capetown." Bluestone went on to release several singles for the label -- including 2013's "Under My Skin," and 2014's "Tension," both of which were collaborations with German techno DJ Jerome Isma-Ae -- before releasing the Big Ben and Snapdragon EPs, both in 2014. Remaining with Anjunabeats, he put out a prolific body of work, including a compilation called Anjunabeats Worldwide 05 in 2015 and a third EP, Shake the Air, with California-based house DJ Maor Levi in 2016. He went on to tour North America in 2017 with U.S. producers Andrew Bayer and Jason Ross while simultaneously working on his debut album. The record, Scars, saw release in early 2018 and featured performances from Italian vocalist Giuseppe du Luca, as well as more collaborative efforts with Maor Levi. ~ Rob Wacey
