“During the pandemic, group workouts and online training were my favorite way to find new club music,” Nina Las Vegas tells Apple Music. “There’s a huge crossover between dance music and fitness, and I love exploring it.” The Australian DJ-producer says she’s “meticulously organized” when it comes to cataloging her fitness-inspired playlists. Here, she curates a mix designed for a 90-minute cycle ride, structured in intervals of 15 to 20 minutes. Each round has light, playful dance tracks geared toward warm-ups; heavier stompers for resistance training and hills; upbeat bangers for cardio bursts; and breezy, melodic tunes for cooldowns. “I worked hard to make this mix something to play for one long ride, with moments to recover or change speeds,” she says. “I really wanted it to take you on a journey.” Some of her favorite moments are transitional, like the exquisitely delirious “Dust” by London up-and-comers Two Shell. “I’m so in awe of everything Two Shell has put out,” she says. “I placed this song strategically after a few wild, bass-heavy tracks as a cooldown before a section of uplifting garage and house.” Elsewhere, there are tracks like Asna and anyoneID’s “Abissa” that are straight adrenaline. “This track goes so hard,” she says. “It’s fast, tough, and makes me move.”
