Produced by The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach at his Easy Eye Sound studio in Nashville, the album features takes on R.L. Burnside’s “Fireman Ring the Bell” and “Georgia Women,” Robert Johnson’s “32-20 Blues,” and Lightnin’ Hopkins’ “Jesus, Won’t You Come By Here,” backed by an all-star band including Junior Kimbrough’s son Kinney Kimbrough on drums and R.L. Burnside collaborator Kenny Brown on slide guitar.
