Hardwood Classics

A Houston rapper who blurs the line between Dirty South hip-hop and straight-up comedy/parody, Riff Raff has put out an alarming amount of material, and he's best known for his overtly goofy rhymes, song titles, and tattoos. He looks like a dictionary definition of "over-the-top wigger," but he's managed to parlay that into MTV appearances, a short-lived deal with Soulja Boy, and collaboration projects with Dame Grease, Andy Milonakis, Chief Keef, and Action Bronson. His many mixtapes include favorites like Rap Game Bon Jovi, Hologram Panda, and Party McHardy, while his official studio joint Neon Icon (executive-produced by Diplo) dropped in the summer of 2014. Hardwood Classics is a street album produced by Embassy, featuring his usual love-it-or-hate-it hyper-ridiculous style on cuts like "Codeine Water Fountain," "Punky Brewster," "Bath Salts," and "Mike Tyson."
