Not only one of the more prolific artists on the Punjabi pop scene, Himmat Sandhu is also adept at switching things up to keep listeners on their toes. Echoes of Emotions, his third EP of 2023, follows the variety pack-like YOLO and the banger-heavy Dusk N Dawn with a focus on the highs and lows of love and romance. He’s heartbroken and hopelessly in love on soulful ballads like “Sama” and “Full moon (Ghazal)”. And he slips into a pensive mood on the dreamy, danceable closer “Love Scars”.
