Projexx

Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Projexx spent most of his teenage years in the studio sessions of his relatives, learning to produce alongside his grandfather (King Jammy) and father (Lloyd "John John" James). After releasing a string of singles until the late 2010s, Projexx caught the attention of Nigerian singer WizKid and British-Ghanaian producer Juls, who collaborated with him on breakout hit "True Love." After releasing his debut mixtape, Fully, Vol. 1 in 2020, he signed to Warner, which released his debut EP Queen Hill the following year.
