In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I think my interest in music first started in church, seeing the choir and the arrangement of instruments and sounds always astounded me each and every Sunday. Eventually, I would go on to play saxophone in middle school, which furthered my love. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Eminem, The Marshall Mathers LP Kanye West, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy Lupe Fiasco, Lupe Fiasco's The Cool (Deluxe Edition) These three albums were the gateway to my discovery of music and to this day influence me in how I approach projects. Each represents my personality in some way and is a reflection of my character and goals as an artist. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “After Da Show” I love this song because I wrote this after my Young Nudy performance. I was so happy and hyped, but also shocked that I made it this far, and yet I still have goals I want to accomplish. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments I've had in my career so far only happened to me recently, which was opening up for Young Nudy at my school, The University of Houston, during our Homecoming. Every time I'm on stage I get reminded that I love this. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? At the end of the day, I want to connect with as many people and share my music with the world. Everything else is added perks, which are flattering, but sharing and being recognized for my art will always prevail over everything.
