K3’s pop is mostly aimed at pre-adolescents, but that doesn’t mean their music is any less fun, and it hasn’t stopped them from becoming a commercially successful supergroup. The trio's songs are an intoxicating mix of humble pleasures and pleasingly cheesy earnestness, and songs like “Hippie Happy Holiday” underscore the group’s technically precise vocals with tropical synths and grinning bass guitar. “Woef!”, meanwhile, mediates a saxophone’s duel with clapping as a celebration of dogs, and “Ushuaia” is the gentlest, most optimistic EDM-adjacent pop song you’ll ever hear.
