About Shuta Sueyoshi

Shuta Sueyoshi is a Japanese singer/actor who first came to prominence with his group AAA (Attack All Around) in the early 2000s and has since launched a parallel solo career. ∙ After graduating from school in 2003, Sueyoshi put together his first group, Friends, which recorded just one single before disbanding. ∙ Recorded with his band AAA in 2007, “Climax Jump” was certified Platinum in Japan after being featured as the theme for the TV series Kamen Rider Den-O. ∙ In 2010, AAA received the first of seven consecutive Outstanding Work Awards from the Japan Composer’s Association (similar to the Grammys’ governing body in the US). ∙ His collaboration with fellow J-pop star ISSA on “Over ‘Quartzer’”—the theme to the TV series Kamen Rider Zi-O—peaked at No. 5 on Billboard’s Japan Hot 100 chart in 2019. ∙ In 2020, Sueyoshi teamed up with voice actors Totoko♡Nya and Matsuno-ka 6 Kyōdaito to provide the closing theme for the anime TV series Mr. Osomatsu.
