David Bowie, Hunky Dory (2015 Remaster) Gorillaz, Demon Days Party Dozen, The Real Work Hunky Dory: A collection of some of the best clever kooky songs ever written. The Real Work: A modern Australian classic. Noise at it's finest. Demon Days: Big hooks, interesting beats. Adore their approach to collaboration. Tell us why you chose this song. “american cowboy song” The song started as a silly, glitchy beat that we saw something in, and decided to flesh out and overcomplicate. In true Fan Girl spirit, we turned it into something more colourful, obnoxious and cheeky. We are really proud of this one. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Supporting The Vines, which is one of our all time favourite bands was incredible. Craig Nicholls was really sweet and supportive with us and it such a dream. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We would love to play Glastonbury festival. Obviously because it's such an iconic thing to do. But also so we could buy gumboots and frolic around in the mud.
