In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I have been writing music and performing in bands since my teens. I gravitated towards self-sufficient production - turning my hand to instruments including flute, keys and guitar - to recreate the styles of my favourite producers. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? A Tribe Called Quest, Midnight Marauders Kendrick Lamar, DAMN. SZA, Ctrl I could listen to these 3 albums everyday and not get bored. Midnight Marauders is a classic that still sounds new. Damn was a grower on me, I wasn't 100% sold at first but now there are no skips, and ctrl is a perfect album, SZA's pen is unmatched. Tell us why you chose this song. “WYLTK” The song is about the unspoken thoughts we have, the ones we sometimes wish we’d say, and the things we don’t say to keep from stirring up confrontation. The refreshingly candid lyrics are guided by a meditative, ethereal soundscape. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I was played on BBC Radio 1 through BBC Introducing. I've listened to Radio 1 for years and years, so to hear my song on that station was very special.
