Singer/songwriter Ed Drewett began singing at an early age, and after studying at London's Tech Music School he auditioned for Andrew Lloyd Webber's TV search to find a lead for a new production of Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Any Dream Will Do. Drewett made it into the final 20, just missing out on a spot in the live shows. Undeterred, he started writing his own material, and in 2009 signed a deal with Virgin Records. A year later, he supported Professor Green on his U.K. tour, appeared on his number three hit "I Need You Tonight," and penned the Wanted's chart-topper "All Time Low."
