Shablul

Shablul

Future icons Arik Einstein and Shalom Hanoch were just a few years into decades-long careers when they collaborated on two albums in 1970. The second, Shablul, is one of the most beloved records in Israeli rock 'n' roll history—a folk-influenced, psychedelic masterpiece. Created in coordination with Einstein's film of the same name, Shablul shows two songwriting legends in peak form, demonstrated in the Beatles-esque balladry of "Avshalom" and spacey folk of "Lama Li Lakachat Lalev".
