The annual Festigal holiday special might be aimed at kids, but the music isn't limited to nursery rhymes. The 2018 edition—with the theme "freestyle dance"—brought together some of Israel's leading names in music for an album of infectiously fun electro-pop and collaborations. Disparate genres are united as Idan Raichel, Moshe Peretz and Eliana Tidhar hook up for the Mizrahi rhythms of "Milim Yafot Me’ele". Peretz returns for a sticky-sweet dip into dubstep, while Raichel re-energises his hit "Bo'ee". It's a mix-and-match pop collection for all ages.
