Here's a debut album that's an unmistakable result of broken hearts moulded into a work of art. Back in 1989, Hachaverim Shel Natasha were a group of hungry and ambitious artists determined to make it big. Producer Izhar Ashdot did them a great service, making their smoky vocals reverberate on top of lush pianos and moody guitars. Adding accordion and saxophone samples keep the sound just as fresh and moving as the mournful, moving lyrics, and made this a cornerstone of Hebrew rock music.
