About Lani Hall

Vocalist Lani Hall is a Grammy-winning performer, best known for her iconic work with Sergio Mendes' Brasil '66 and for her own pop, Latin, and soft rock albums with husband Herb Alpert. With Brasil '66, Hall garnered fame singing hits like "Mas Que Nada," "The Look of Love," and "Fool on a Hill." She made her solo debut with 1974's Alpert-produced Sun Down Lady, followed by 1975's Hello It's Me, 1977's Sweetbird, and 1979's Double or Nothing. She sang the theme to the 1983 James Bond film Never Say Never Again and won the Grammy for Best Latin Pop Performance for 1985's Es Fácil Amar. Following an extended hiatus due to the Epstein-Barr virus, Hall returned with 1998's Brasil Nativo and embarked on a series of standards albums with Alpert, including 2013's Grammy-winning Steppin' Out. In 2022, she released her first solo album in over 20 years with Seasons of Love.
