In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Since I was a child, music has always been around me, and as soon as my parents bought a piano I would begin to compose on it, not knowing why or how to do it. I would climb up high in the apple trees in our garden and contemplate and remember pieces What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brian Eno, Thursday Afternoon Christoph von Dohnányi, Gidon Kremer, Rainer Keuschnig, Wiener Philharmoniker, Philip Glass: Violin Concerto No. 1 / Schnittke: Concerto Grosso No. 5 Die 12 Cellisten der Berliner Philharmoniker, Gidon Kremer, Keith Jarrett, Arvo Pärt: Tabula Rasa Tabula Rasa was a defining piece for me as a young composer, especially last movement Tabula Rasa II Silentium. The way the piece moves and breath, it reflects light in me. It's all about what's in between things, like love, hope. It changed me. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lament (Descent of Angels)” I wrote this piece dedicated to my father while he was sick from cancer. He didn't know, cause I could not tell him, he was filled with so much pain. It was performed at his funeral and the score was place in his coffin with him, a last goodbye. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Working with so many amazing musicians around the world is always memorable. Receiving a 3 year working grant from the Danish Arts Foundation, winning 1st prize for best electronics music there, and being nominated for a Danish Music Award -Classical Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Music is a life project to me and I will compose music to the last day of my life. I've written a lot of chamber music with electronics and I have so much to say. I'm revising my 3 symphonies and a cello concerto with the title Venus. Time will tell.
