About Gypsy
b. Graham Drinnan, Glasgow, Scotland. Among Limbo Record’s most prestigious recordings acts of the early 90s, Drinnan was often referred to as ‘the hardest working man in house music’. His recordings included the wonderful ‘I Trance You’, released when he was just 18 in 1992, which remained a standby in many DJs playlists ever since. 1994 material included ‘Funk De Fino’, while he also mixed the 17-track Transend compilation for Rumour. He formed Sublime in 1992 with Circa DJ Matt Brown, who went on to release a slew of hugely impressive dance cuts for Limbo: ‘Fight The Feeling’, ‘Theme’, ‘Trans American’ (one of 1993’s most popular club cuts) and ‘TGV’.
