In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember sitting on my mom's lap – I would have been under 3 – and listening to Bach on the record player. We would make up stories that the music conjured up. My mom gave me the records a few years ago, so I think back often to those times. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beyoncé, Lemonade Paul Simon, Graceland Tom Petty, Wildflowers If I hear one song off of any of these records, I want to listen to the whole album! Great lyrics, great production, and they all feel timeless to me. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “To the Moon with You Alice” Some fans started nicknaming people Alice after hearing this song; friends, lovers, family members who come and go, but are loved the same no matter what. As a songwriter, it's one of my great satisfactions to hear someone special described as Alice. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The album release party for my release, Goodbye Party. I had a choir sing backup on two of the tracks from the album - it was so exciting to get to share the songs and all their stories with the people there that night. It felt intimate and special. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So many things. But it is like a wish and should only be whispered to friends in confidence with hope in my heart and fingers crossed, followed by hard work.
