Y Hate ? - EP

Punjabi actor, music-video director and musician Parmish Verma serves up hip-hop, pop and folk influences across Y Hate ?. The EP’s four tracks—and accompanying clips—were crafted around the world, from Sydney to the artist’s Punjab birthplace, Patiala. And collabs reign supreme here, too. Rapper Raftaar joins Verma on the drill-tinged “Yaar Mere” before Gurlez Akhtar’s voice powers pop-meets-traditional Punjabi track “Dhakk”. Laidback vibes colour “1234”, made in Vancouver alongside Inderpal Moga and Chani Nattan. And Verma comes home with vocalist Laddi Chahal on a love letter to his origins, “Patiala Flex”.
