KSI: Music That Moves Me

“If I’m training, I use music to boost me and take me to another level,” KSI tells Apple Music. “I listen to music while I run. Normally, when I’m doing my 5Ks, or a 10K, it makes the exercise more enjoyable. If it’s during my leisure time, I use it to inspire and help me innovate new ideas. If it’s for my YouTube channel, I use music to help elevate and lift a video.” Music can also be a pick-me-up during the challenging moments in any athlete’s career—but so far for the boxer/rapper/social media superstar, those moments have been few and far between during in his time in the ring. “I’ve never lost, so I don’t know what music I need to help with that,” he says, “but I defo have songs I use to help me stay winning. From hip-hop to drill to pop to drum ’n’ bass, I like all types of genres to get me in the mood whenever I’m preparing for a fight.” Let KSI take you through a few of the tracks that keep him fired up. KSI, “Down Like That” (feat. Rick Ross, Lil Baby & S-X) “This song was my walkout for when I fought and beat Logan Paul [in November 2019]. It always takes me back to that warrior mindset where I know, no matter what, no one is beating me.” Meek Mill, “Ima Boss” “This song just makes me feel powerful and gets me hyped.” System Of A Down, “Chop Suey!” “This is my top anthem. Talk about a song to get me ready for game day/night.” KSI, “Not Over Yet (Remix)” [feat. Headie One & Nines] “The song that was used during my 2 Fights 1 Night event. Absolute banger, and truly made me feel like I’m on a different level.”
