Ninjoi.

About Ninjoi.

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I must share 2 important memories: 1) Falling asleep to music as a baby with my 16-year-old parents on their bed in our tiny room. 2) Drifting asleep to Adult Swim instrumental interludes as a kid. The sounds of Flying Lotus & J Dilla enter my dreams What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Aminé, TWOPOINTFIVE Ninjoi., Masayume Travis Scott, Rodeo Over time, my own album "Masayume" became one of my most favorite albums of all time. I managed to sing about feelings I'd one day feel, but could only dream of. Travis Scott's Rodeo got me through college. Aminé's TWOPOINTFIVE=most fun project ever. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Don't Want Your Love” It was so much fun accidentally writing the song with one of my best friends "Omar" in the room. He had just begun learning Portuguese and as I began to write the instrumental, he began to sing spontaneously in it. I asked him to translate and boom. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I will always say that being able to visit Japan for the first time--being able to play for Redbull Music Festival in a karaoke tower w/ dozens of local talent was my dream come-true. But, to answer honestly, it's learning every moment in life helps. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I think, I wish, to produce for many artists. I wish, to sing for 1000's of people. I wish, to share my music insight with popular artists and to elevate their music more than ever dreamt possible. I wish, to pay my bills and give back to my parents.
