My Private Nation

My Private Nation

Following the massive success of 2001's Drops of Jupiter, Train re-teamed with producer Brendan O'Brien in the hopes of repeating it—and they did just that. With its enormous chorus and booming arrangements, "Calling All Angels" kicks things off with a bang; it was the album's biggest hit. "Save the Day" is a witty blue-collar love song, while the title track exhibits Train's signature move: passing off a country-pop tune as modern rock. On My Private Nation, Train complete the transformation from the bar band they started out as into the arena rockers they became.
