Raised in a single-parent home, I was in my mum's kitchen when I heard 'The Message' by Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five. That was my first Hip-Hop experience. I loved nursery rhymes so this fell right in my bag and, I wanted to be a part of it. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dr. Dre, The Chronic Michael Jackson, Thriller Pink Floyd, The Dark Side of the Moon Remastered Michael Jackson's Thriller represents excellence to me while Dr. Dre's The Chronic made me learn how to make beats and taught me the importance of collaboration. Tell us why you chose this song. “Chateu Petrus” I've always loved Hip-Hop for its ability to share experiences. Messaging has always been big with Rap music. This song was my way of keeping it real and being vulnerable while communicating wordplay, love, struggles, pain, and success all in one. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? While waiting for my visa to permanently migrate to Australia, I lived in Los Angeles, California. I had one goal in mind, to meet Dr. Dre & Jimmy Iovine. I went to Interscope Records and the guards wouldn't let me. I kept trying and still keep at it Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to tour and work with Dr. Dre/Jimmy Iovine beyond just making music to discuss innovative ideas. I would also like to perform my song The Fire Inside to a sold-out stadium and perform it the way I have always intended. It's never been done
