Life Rolls On

Life Rolls On

Writing on the road has become integral to Florida Georgia Line's ethos, as the country duo has more or less toured relentlessly since the release of their 2012 debut Here's to the Good Times. That practice proved fruitful for Life Rolls On, their fifth studio album, which members Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley wrote while touring in support of 2019's Can't Say I Ain't Country, often while bringing co-writers out on the road with them. "[We were] writing three or four songs every weekend and really digging in and making that a part of what we did on the road," Hubbard tells Apple Music. "So when we got to picking songs for this album, we had 50 to choose from that we all felt were strong." The duo came up with 16 keepers, including hits like "I Love My Country" and "Beer:30," both of which originally featured on FGL's 2020 EP 6-Pack. The album also marks the first time they worked with producer Corey Crowder, having recorded their previous albums with Joey Moi. "[Life Rolls On] was such a fun record to make," Kelley says. "I can't believe how God's connected all the dots and we've been writing together and collab-ing for years. But to really take it to the next level and work on a record like this, man, we're super grateful, super thankful."
