747 (Deluxe Edition)

Lady Antebellum’s 2014 album takes an all-for-one approach that still allows plenty of space for individual members to have moments in the spotlight. Lead singers Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott each put their own sonic stamp on the proceedings, but they're never stronger than when they lay into signature harmonies with Dave Haywood. While 747 boasts plenty of the dramatic ballads that are Lady Antebellum's specialty, the multi-platinum country trio refuse to be boxed in. They soar through the melodic rocker "Long Stretch of Love," the R&B-inflected No. 1 hit "Bartender," and the swampy, Southern rock stomper "Freestyle" with all the upward momentum that the album's title suggests.
