About Zo the Scholar

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember riding in Detroit in a old school hoopty with the ceiling cloth hanging down while listening to 2pac's "How do you want it". I had to be maybe 6 or 7 years old, I remember thinking how do artist come up with these lyrics without messing up What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Big Sean, Finally Famous (Deluxe Edition) Wiz Khalifa, Kush & Orange Juice Wu-Tang Clan, Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) [Expanded Edition] I like 36 Chambers from Wu-Tang because their sound was so raw and gritty and I loved their delivery and unpredictable flows. Big Sean's album had wordplay and punchlines that I could really relate to at the time, and Wiz had the smokin vibes on lock Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “J.I.D.T. (feat. Germ)” I really liked this track because it talked about being patient while on the path of following your dreams. I felt like anyone could relate - and it was a reminder to myself that I would blow up just in due time. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I would say the most the memorable moments in my career so far was moving to Atlanta,GA where me and my college roommate built a in-house studio in our garage. It was a long time dream to live in Atlanta and make music, and we did it! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have many things left on my bucket list as an artist, I want to perform live where the crowd knows my lyrics and is saying them with me. I also want to crowd surf at least for the one time!
