Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Growing up, I listened to a lot of Lauryn Hill's music. I fell in love with "The Miseducation." Ed Sheeran’s "X" the one I listened to when I needed to feel my own voice. "Asa" by Aṣa. She gave me the confidence I needed to be myself. It has a blend of afrobeats but is mostly neosoul. The song speaks of reality. I’m glad the the song is moving emotions, and that’s the kind of music I like to make.
