In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I sang a song in my 5th grade play. It was a remake we wrote to Elton John's Rocket Man. From there I really didnt do much music wise until I started spinning records in High school and college. I then built a recording studio in the early 2000's. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ice Cube, The Predator Snoop Dogg, Doggystyle The Notorious B.I.G., The Notorious B.I.G.: Greatest Hits I was born in 1980 so Rap and rap music shaped a great deal of my childhood and youth. I spent a lot of time listening to way different music as well: Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd and the Greatful Dead, Blink 182 and Green Day are some others. Tell us why you chose this song. “Dope Girls” This is one of my favorite tracks that I recorded with the young prodigy TrippyThaKid. I chose the beat and wrote the hook and paid for the production, feature and marketing. I'm extremely proud of the response to the record by strangers. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I've worked on the side in music distribution for over ten years. I take pride in helping indie artists from behind the scenes. This hard work has lead to my current parent label spinning about 70,000,000 monthly spins on the different DSPs. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I am a huge fan of Wu. I've met or worked in some way with several of the members on shows and was a friend of Popa Wu. I'd like to do a song with RZA one day. That would be a highlight of my career for sure. On a track he produces of course.
