Undercroft

About Undercroft

Chilean death metal foursome Undercroft burst into the local scene in 1991, recording ...To the Final Battle in 1993 and Demons Awake, Revenge Is Near in 1994. That same year, the band had the opportunity to open for German Kreator, later playing along with Swedish Therion in Argentina. In 1995, the group's debut album, called Twisted Souls, was released. In May of 1996, Undercroft opened for Morbid Angel in Santiago de Chile, while the Florida-based heavy metal/death metal act was touring South America. In April of 1997, Undercroft's second album, called BoneBreaker, allowed the band to start touring around the country. In 1998, Redemolition was released. Soon after, singer Tito Merlin and bassist Marco Medina left the act and ex-Radical bass player Rodrigo Oneto joined in. ~ Drago Bonacich
