About Tasha Miller

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I sang the National Anthem for the NBA. Sacramento Kings, Utah Jazz and for the Phoenix Suns. I was so nervous before I sang one time. My throat closed up. I told myself sternly, "This isn't about you, Tasha. Go out there and be a vehicle for this." What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alicia Keys, The Diary of Alicia Keys Amy Winehouse, Amy (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Sade, The Best of Sade (Remaster) All things Alicia, Amy and Sade float my boat. Of course there are countless others, but these women are my main course. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Levitate” This song is an achingly cinematic and very personal love story, both for the sport of rowing and my family, the great Team Miller. "Here we go up and overhead. Leave your fear. Take me instead. Let's go where we've never been. I dare you." What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I sang for the legendary advertising genius and all-around "good guy," Dan Wieden, for his wedding and multiple private occasions for his large creative family. He made me feel important and told me to "dial it up." Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to sing a duet with Alicia Keys before either one of us dies.
