In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 13 years old I started into music. I was inspired by cousins who had a rock band, and by an uncle who was a bolero musician. I also learned classical guitar, and played covers and original music in several local rock bands. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Circa Survive, Juturna The Mars Volta, Frances the Mute The melancholy and energy are in harmony, which is so incredible. Also, it reminds me of my teenage years, and the guitar influenced me for my own songs. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “El Junte: Son Jarocho” This song was my first approach to Son Jarocho. Even though, this song is not strictly speaking a Son Jarocho´s song, but a fusion. This song is so special to me because I had the pleasure of working with the master Ramon Gutierrez, whom I admire. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Working with international artists, such as Daichi Yamamoto, Teeam Revolver, Ramon Gutierrez Hernandez (Son De Madera), Mckdaddy, Bruno Champman, Chopef. Also, done official remixes for Kim Wan-sun. Being pioneer of Hispanic music in Korea. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Exploring new music forms and perfecting my own music style. Work with more international artists and represent the Mexican and Latin music in South Korea. Furthermore, create a bridge between Mexican and Korean music artists.
