Lili Fatale

About Lili Fatale

The pop/rock group Lili Fatale formed in Montreal around the middle of the '90s. Members include vocalist Nathalie Courchesne and Richard Valmont Binette. Uranian Valceanu provides both vocals and guitar. In 1998, the group released its first album, a self-titled offering of pop and new wave and ska mixed together smoothly. The proficient debut was released under the Sony Records label and earned over half-a-dozen ADISQ nominations for Lili Fatale. After some touring through parts of Europe, the group went to work on a second album in 2000, Panavision. A few of the tracks fans will find on these albums are "Candy," "Ange De Ville," "Proche Chaos," "Elephant Blanc," and "La Mare Aux Oublis." ~ Charlotte Dillon
