Javiera & Los Imposibles

About Javiera & Los Imposibles

Chilean pop/rock foursome Javiera & Los Imposibles started touring Santiago's club circuit in the early '90s, signing with BMG in 1994. They then recorded their debut album, Corte en Trámite, which was produced by Los Tres' Alvaro Henríquez and featured the hit single "Te Amo Tanto." In 1996, bassist Fernando Julio and drummer Marcelo Filippi joined lead singer Javiera Parra and guitarist Cristian López. Soon, the group moved to England to make their following record, La Suerte. In addition, the group participated in a tribute album to Argentine Sandro, covering his song "Asi." After signing with Sony Music, Javiera & Los Imposibles made A Color, which was produced by Cristian Heyne. ~ Drago Bonacich
