Singer/songwriter Jason Lancaster is best known as the former frontman/pianist for emo-pop act Go Radio and before that as the singer/guitarist for Mayday Parade. In 2013, shortly after announcing the breakup of Go Radio, he announced his intentions to make a go of it as an independent solo act. Wishing to spend less time on the road and focus more on his personal and spiritual life, he launched a crowd-funding campaign to help make his first album. Released in July 2014, Lancaster's solo debut, As You Are, was both more personal and musically laid-back than his previous bands' efforts. ~ Timothy Monger
