In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember riding around with my mom in the middle of the night as she was heading to a studio session. She was blasting Sade and I was in a DAZE. Had to be about 2/3 years old. For years on, she'd play Sade at bedtime so I could sleep. haha What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Flying Lotus, Cosmogramma People Under the Stairs, O.S.T. Sade, Lovers Rock Hardest question you could ever ask. lmao I can never nail down a set list, but I love a lot. Tell us why you chose this song. “Handwritten Cheat Codes” This song right here removed all barriers for me as an artist. When I made this, I had a limited scope of the type of art I could create, but making this I felt like I was moving in my purpose and making music that truly lives. possibilities! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In September 2023, I got the chance to open for Kiefer on his "It's Ok, B U" tour during the cincinnati stop! The way it happened seemed surreal. I had been listening to him for years, and didn't realize I was on his radar. haha just wow man Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to perform overseas to packed houses, have my music in a major film, I'd love to meet Sade, Herbie Hancock, and Nardwuar, I want to create interactive spaces for music and connection, I want to experience huge crowds singing my words, etc!
