About Dylan John Thomas

Placing an earthy, world-weary, beyond-his-years vocal over clever, hook-filled, fingerpicked indie folk compositions, Dylan John Thomas is a Glaswegian singer-songwriter who emerged in the late 2010s and counted Gerry Cinnamon as a firm mentor. Two 2019 singles -- "Nobody Else" and "Problems" -- led to a prestigious run of dates opening for Liam Gallagher. 2021's playful, ska-fueled "Jenna" marked the beginning of a strong working relationship with producer, Rich Turvey and was the lead single on his 2021 debut self-titled EP. His next record, simply titled EP2, charted in Scotland and featured the infectious, riff-based "Fever." 2024's piano-led "What I Need" found Thomas in reflective, Beatlesque ballad mode ahead of the release of his debut full-length, Dylan John Thomas, which charted in the U.K. just outside the Top 20.
