Capitán Cobarde

About Capitán Cobarde

Capitán Cobarde is the second alter ego of Spanish singer and songwriter Alberto Romero Nieto. Born in Seville in 1982, Nieto first became known as Albertucho. Under that moniker, he recorded several albums between 2004 and 2012 that mixed punk and Andalusian rock. In 2015 he assumed the name Capitán Cobarde and switched to folk-rock. The new project's first release was a live outing featuring guests such as Kutxi Romero and Carlos Tarque. In 2017 Capitán Cobarde issued its first studio album, Carretera Vieja. ~ Mariano Prunes
