Abbott has also taught music as the former Director of Instrumental Ensembles at Rhode Island's Salve Regina College, as a saxophone instructor at the University of Rhode Island, and as a private tutor. Abbott has recorded over a dozen CDs with the North Star Jazz Ensemble on North Star Records, including Romancing the Sax and Moonlight & Sax. ~ Heather Phares
