In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My best friend and I were leads in our 3rd grade school play. After our opening night, our principal, announced in front of the audience that we would be the first 3rd graders to join the 4th & 5th grade choir without an audition. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beyoncé, B'Day (Deluxe Edition) D'Angelo, Voodoo Jazmine Sullivan, Heaux Tales, Mo' Tales: The Deluxe I picked these albums because they have so many different layers to them. Voodoo and B'Day for the instrumentation. B'day and Heaux Tales for the vocal agility. Voodoo and Heaux Tales as the standard for a traditional RnB album. Tell us why you chose this song. “Pam Grier” I wrote this at 20, I thought it would be a throwaway and it wouldn't be received well but everyone I played it for thought it was genius. Its my favorite song that I've written.
