British synth-pop act Years & Years, the project of Olly Alexander, has released two chart-topping albums, scored multiple Platinum-selling singles, and won more than a dozen industry awards. ∙ Alexander collaborated with Belgian DJ/producer The Magician on the 2014 international hit “Sunlight,” which made the Top 20 in the UK, Belgium, Australia, and Scotland. ∙ “King,” his first chart-topping single, reached No. 1 on the UK Singles chart in 2015 and was later covered by such artists as Nick Jonas and Carly Rae Jepsen. ∙ Years & Years' full-length LP Communion hit No. 1 on the UK Albums chart and became the fastest-selling UK debut of 2015. ∙ At the 2016 BRIT Awards, the band was nominated for British Group, British Breakthrough Act, and British Single of the Year and Video of the Year (for “King”). ∙ Palo Santo—his Gold-selling 2018 sophomore LP—earned Alexander his second No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart. ∙ In 2018, he collaborated with UK singer Jess Glynne for a cover of “Come Alive,” from The Greatest Showman: Reimagined soundtrack (P!nk, Kelly Clarkson, Kesha, and Missy Elliott).
