About The Used

The Used is a post-hardcore band from Utah that emerged during the emo explosion of the early 2000s. ∙ Formed in 2000, the band found an early champion in producer (and Goldfinger frontman) John Feldmann, who helped them secure a major-label deal less than a year later. ∙ Their Platinum-certified, self-titled 2002 debut album produced several alt-rock radio hits, paving the way for 2004’s follow-up, In Love and Death, which entered the Billboard 200 at No. 6. ∙ In 2005, the band teamed up with My Chemical Romance on a cover of David Bowie & Queen’s classic “Under Pressure,” with proceeds going to help tsunami victims in Asia. ∙ The group’s third LP, Lies for the Liars (2007), reached No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and was followed by two more Top 10 albums: Artwork (2009) and Vulnerable (2012). ∙ Heartwork, the group’s 2020 LP, includes guest appearances from blink-182’s Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker, plus the vocalists of Beartooth and FEVER 333. ∙ Lead singer Bert McCracken (along with YUNGBLUD) is featured on “body bag,” a song from pop-punk rapper Machine Gun Kelly’s 2020 album, Tickets to My Downfall.
